Project description
The aim of this WOP is to ensure and sustain the provision of affordable, reliable and sustainable 24-hour drinking water supply services
Project main objectives
The private sector service contract (PSSC) objectives for both Water Boards are to ensure and sustain the provisions of reliable 24-hour water supply services to the people of Lilongwe and Blantyre, and to improve living conditions for people in low-income areas by extending safe water supply and basic sanitation services.

The service contract aims:
- To improve the operational performance of the Water Boards (working ratio).
- To restructure and reinforce the Water Boards.
- To improve water production capacity and reduce Non RevenueWater.
- To extend WASH services to low-income areas.
