Summary

The session will have a first part with short presentations of the case studies in Jordan, Palestine and from MEYAH-Arab International Water Foundation, Egypt.
It is specific knowledge that is being generated in the regional cooperation projects to improve the water and sanitation service delivery in the MENA region. It refers to utility and operators` know how as well as services that are managed community based and stakeholder participation.
Secondly, there will be therefore an interactive panel with a discussion on how this knowledge can be shared and transferred within the whole region and how a sustainable knowledge platform (MENA WOP Hub) can be established.

Objectives

Key objectives of this event are:
• Showcasing success stories in Jordan and Palestine (Westbank) around Water Operators` Partnerships (WOPs) and the importance of innovation and applied research with focus on water security, smart infrastructure and wastewater management.
• Way forward to the knowledge platform in the MENA region
