Summary

To address gaps in the academic research on WOPs, IHE, together with GWOPA and VEI, have been curating WOP focused research articles for publication in a Special WOP Issue of the IWA WASH for Development Journal. In this special issue, both academics and practitioners contribute to expanding the literature on water operators’ partnerships, to identify salient features of such partnerships and to pinpoint possible future directions for WOPs.

Objectives

Explore the key findings and insights presented in the articles.

Reflect on how these insights can inform and strengthen the design and implementation of effective partnerships.
