The Global Water Operators’ Partnerships Alliance (GWOPA) unites public water and sanitation utilities and their partners to strengthen utility capacity, improve performance, and promote sustainably managed services for all. As GWOPA continues to grow, our community of Institutional Members keeps on welcoming new members from various countries, regions and across diverse sectors of the water and sanitation community. The Institutional Member Meet & Greet Event aims to offer an opportunity for members to connect, exchange and strengthen relationships within the Alliance. The event will be interactive where both long-standing and newly joined members can meet and engage with one another. The event will begin with a general round of introductions, giving participants the chance to briefly present themselves and their organization to the room. This will be followed by an inspirational welcome speech from David Boys, one of the founding members of the Alliance. Members will be given the opportunity to raise any questions, ideas, or suggestions related to GWOPA and membership. The second part of the event will feature a dynamic “speed networking” activity, during which participants will rotate through short and focused conversations designed to build new connections and explore potential partnerships.
