Join us for the Opening Ceremony of the 6th Global Water Operators’ Partnerships Congress, where distinguished leaders will extend a warm welcome to the Congress and the UN city of Bonn.

The session will feature Opening Remarks from the UN-Habitat Executive Director Ms. Anacláudia Rossbach, the BMZ State Secretary Mr. Niels Annen, and a Keynote Address by Ms. Retno L.P Marsudi, United Nations Special Envoy on Water

The Opening will also include the screening of a short film from the EU-WOPs Programme funded by the European Union, entitled Water, Work and Will: A Partnership Changing Lives in Luapula. It will be introduced by Mr. Arnaud de Vanssay, Team Leader Water, European Commission and Mr. Mukela Simbuwa, Managing Director, Luapula Water Supply and Sanitation Company Limited.

Participants will be welcomed to the host city of Bonn by Ms. Nicole Unterseh, Deputy Mayor of Bonn and Mr. Toily Kurbanov, Executive Coordinator, UN Volunteers.

Ms. Rose Kaggwa, National Water and Sewerage Company, Uganda, and Chair of the GWOPA will introduce the Programme and launch the 6th edition of our Congress.
