The Global Water Operators’ Partnerships Alliance (GWOPA) of UN-Habitat, in collaboration with WSH Data Labs, the Eastern and Southern Africa Water and Sanitation (ESAWAS) Regulators Association, and UN-Habitat, will host an online session to present two new tools designed to improve how sanitation data is collected, integrated and used across Sub-Saharan Africa.
The event will take place on Thursday, 13 November 2025, at 09:00 GMT, and will be streamed live on LinkedIn.
The session will introduce:
- The Data Maturity Assessment Tool, a structured framework to evaluate the effectiveness of sanitation data systems, identify integration gaps and guide improvement plans.
- The Health Sector Learnings Report, which draws from proven practices in health data governance to enhance WASH performance monitoring and investment planning.
By equipping utilities, regulators and municipalities with practical methodologies and cross-sector insights, these resources aim to strengthen the foundations of data-driven sanitation service delivery.
