Desarrollo de Capacidades y Fortalecimiento Institucional en Saneamiento e Innovación Tecnológica - Proyecto Sur Sur OSSE - ANDA
Project main objectives
" Technical personnel trained for greater efficiency in the operation and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants.

- Supporting documents / manuals that contribute to a sustainable operation after the completion of the WOP, with an impact on the environment and health.

- Diagnosis of a non-operating wastewater treatment plant. Rehabilitation and enhancement plan.

- Technical personnel trained in the management of sewage sludge (residual sludge).

Methodology and monitoring programs for the correct management of wastewater and sewage sludge in accordance with ANDA's strategic axis of Sanitation.

- Technical personnel trained in telecommunications, networks and other technology.

- Improvements in connectivity, scalable, that can be maintained by own personnel.

- Improvements in digital customer service circuits.

- Installation of an adequate and sustainable operating process monitoring system, in accordance with local requirements.

- Acquisition of software / hardware that contributes to improvements.

These results are expected to have an impact on:

- The beneficiary Partner, who will operate with a higher level of efficiency and will improve its Customer Service strategic axis.

- The beneficiary Partner's staff, who will receive training and will see their skills strengthened.

- The clients of the Beneficiary Partner, who will see the commercial procedures facilitated through the development of digital platforms.

- The population living in a vulnerable situation on the banks of the waterways where inefficient treatment plants discharge may, under a new approach, receive social and environmental benefits for their development.

Finally, the Beneficiary Partner could replicate the lessons learned as a mentor in future WOPs within the region, while the Lead Partner's technical teams would gain experience in international cooperation."
