Project description
The aim of this WOP is to providing a safe , clean and adequate supply of water to the citizens.

Describe WOPs activities
Cooperative action to plant, design and construct a major water transmission system
Provision of 30 million gallons of water per day to BFWC
Water quality testing and system monitoring
Formation of advisory committee involving all parties to facilitate communication and to coordinate response to mutual concerns for water quality and supply
Biennial meetings to assess water supply and service needs and to share demand information
Cost effective maintenance and repair services of BFWC's storage, pumping and other facilities
Project main objectives
Provide an adequate water supply to Florence and Boone County to satisfy present and future growth demands in a manner that accords best with geographic, economic, social and other factors
Most significant results
Florence and Boone County receive high quality water at reasonable rates, and they saved an estimated $13 million compared with the alternative water supply option.

Cincinnati is able to maintain reasonable rates by spreading fixed costs across a larger customer base
