The aim of this WOP is access to qualified water distribution system operator
Describe WOPs activities
Canton Township and the City of Westland entered into a shared service agreement. Canton Township provided a qualified water operator to assist Westland in monitoring its water distribution system and in overseeing the city's compliance with the drinking water regulations of the State of Michigan.
Westland benefited from the professional expertise of Canton employees who regularly met with city public works officials, performed site visits as needed, and collaborated on reports and other matters related to the city's water system.
