The aim of this WOP is to facilitate operator knowledge transfer from MidCoast Water to Samoa Water
Most significant results
An increased awareness of smart meter technology and SCADA for SWA operators means has confirmed that a smart meter strategy is practical, achievable and will have wide ranging benefits. Increased awareness of tablet chlorine dosing techniques for tanks and reservoirs
• Awareness of the ‘state of play’ with laboratories in Samoa has been increased. Some sites, such as the Scientific Research Organisation of Samoa (SROS) are accredited to ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems) and ISO 17025 (Laboratory Standards), indicating potential for a laboratory partnership in Samoa to accelerate learning.
