Project description
The partnership between Overliggend Waterschap MCP and CAESB is mainly focused in the target of providing enough and quality water supply for farmers and villagers in Nickerie area in Suriname. The agreement also allows the technicians exchange, the collaborative research and to provide support in all the spheres.
Project main objectives
The overall objective of the partnership is to enhance the relationship between the partners through the promotion and development of collaborative research programs, academic, technical and cultural exchange programs and other cooperative activities and assistance in areas of mutual interest and benefit.

Describe WOPs activities
Activities will include, among others: development of cooperative joint projects in the field of water and wastewater management; exchange of technicians; exchange of information, advice and assistance; collaborative research and joint meetings; exchange of documentation and organization of joint symposia, conferences, workshops and meetings. The first activities are expected to take place in March of 2015. Partners agreed that in principle each party will cover its own costs related to the implementation of activities
